I can’t believe this is a real thing. How did so many different companies give Disney rights to use their characters? I just want to throw my money at this and watch it right now.
This is what my newly budding collection looks like all in one place.
The beginning of a contemporary vinyl record collection looks like this.
Tremendously satisfying. My first run over 5 miles in a while. I was originally planning on the normal 5, but was so focused on the podcast I was listening to that I decided I could keep going. It was pretty slow, but I’ll take it. (I was still at ~9:25/mile at 6.6 miles.)
I know I sweat a lot during this run because i had visible salt deposits sitting on my skin when I looked in the mirror after finishing. It looked like someone had poured some Morton salt on to me and pressed it into cakes. Kind of gross, but also fascinating.
Now suffering through an ice bath while polishing off a protein shake. Yes, my entire lower body is submerged in ice water while I post this from my phone. (No worries: The phone is sealed inside an “Extra Resistant” Ziploc bag. It’s safe.)
Another run or two like this and I’ll be ready to register for a half marathon and start training in earnest. (That’s still a lot more distance and a lot of speed improvement to work toward.)
It’s time for some Honest To God Real Talk™, so let’s be real for a minute.
No matter what might be more exciting or seem cooler, there is really no better superpower to have in the real world than Cypher’s. It would be uncannily useful nearly every day and would only become more useful as time went on. I don’t think I go a week without remembering how much I want it.
